Do i look goofy?

Oh my lord, are they looking at me? Oh my lord they are!!
Of course they are, you are a performer an entertainer, that’s what they are meant to do, they are the audience and you have chosen to be an entertainer.
With the love of our music we need to find freedom.  Freedom that allows us to physically show our audience what a particular song does for us as performers.  This is, at times, very difficult because of the inner fear factor.  The little voice that tells us that we look stupid or we are not this or not that

Forget it, ignore it and get over it or it will restrict your growth.
If a song makes you happy then be happy. Jump around, clap, get excited. Happy people don’t stand still!  If it is a sad song share the meaning you have taken out of it and give it to your audience with your hands, your face, your vocal tone. That’s your job to share all that you are doing and feeling onstage with the audience.
Find your groove and put a smile on someone’s face, it’s all part of developing your individual style as an entertainer.  Once again “the who you are!”
Each song is a new script, each time you sing it you may get something else out of it, allow your body to help you express the emotion of the lyric and melody.
